Taping Services

  • do you need your audition edited?

We’ve been helping actors book jobs through our taping services for the past 10 years.

Simply, if you don’t have a professionally taped audition (lighting, sound, coaching, etc.), casting directors may never even watch your audition.

Nashville Acting Studio provides two taping services - you can come to us or we come to you (limited to Davidson & Williamson Counties). Availability is Monday - Friday from 9:30 - 5pm. All pricing includes coaching if desired.

Pricing

30 minutes - $35 plus $15 to edit/upload/send

60 minutes - $60 plus $20 to edit/upload/send

If you’d like to be coached on the audition, be sure to ask before the audition.

Please allow 8-10 hours to receive edit (usually much quicker than this, but plan ahead when possible).

 
 

Mentoring

 These mentoring sessions grew out of the annual New Year NAS classes, where we dedicate our first class of January to mentoring, reflection, and goal setting. We do this every single year because it is consistently one of the most meaningful and helpful experiences for our actors. The private, one-on-one mentoring sessions offered online are a natural extension of that work.

Actors from anywhere can schedule a mentoring session to talk through their careers—whether broadly or around a specific moment. Common topics include getting an agent for the first time, changing representation, preparing for headshots in a smarter and more effective way, building or refining a reel, moving from co-star bookings to guest stars, improving self-tapes, and much more. If it’s part of your acting career, it’s something we can talk about.

Navigating the trajectory of an acting career can be incredibly difficult, especially as a creative. Knowing what the next step is—and how to get there—is often unclear. These sessions are designed to help you identify and build those bridges from where you are now to what comes next.
